Antibiotics Buy Doxycycline At, Paldomycin

Antibiotics

Doxycycline (Paldomycin)

Doxycycline is used for treating infections caused by certain bacteria. It may be used in combination with other medicines to treat certain amoeba infections. It may also be used to prevent or slow the progression of anthrax after exposure. Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by slowing the growth of bacteria. Slowing bacteria's growth allows the body's immune system to destroy the bacteria.

Take Doxycycline exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

Take Doxycycline with a full glass of water (8 ounces).

Do not take the medication with milk or other dairy products, unless your doctor has told you to. Dairy products can make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.

Do not crush, break, or open a capsule. Swallow the pill whole. It is specially made to release medicine slowly in the body. Breaking or opening the pill would cause too much of the drug to be released at one time.

Take Doxycycline for the entire length of time prescribed by your doctor. Your symptoms may get better before the infection is completely treated.

Doxycycline will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.

Do not give this medicine to another person, even if they have the same condition you have.

If you need to have any type of surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time that you are taking Doxycycline. You may need to stop using the medicine for a short time.

Do not take any Doxycycline after the expiration date printed on the label. Using expired Doxycycline can cause damage to your kidneys.

Do not give Doxycycline to a child younger 8 years. It can cause permanent yellowing or graying of the teeth, and it can affect a child's growth.

If you miss a dose of Doxycycline, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.

Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Doxycycline.

Store Doxycycline at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) in a tightly closed container. Brief periods at temperatures of 59 to 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) are permitted. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Doxycycline out of the reach of children and away from pets.

Do NOT use Doxycycline if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in Doxycycline, or to similar medicines such as demeclocycline (Declomycin), minocycline (Dynacin, Minocin, Solodyn, Vectrin), or tetracycline (Brodspec, Panmycin, Sumycin, Tetracap)

you are taking acitretin, isotretinoin, or a penicillin (eg, amoxicillin)

you have recently received or will be receiving a live oral typhoid vaccine.

Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Some medical conditions may interact with Doxycycline. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding

if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement

if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances

if you have diarrhea, a stomach or intestinal infection, a history of lupus, or the blood disease porphyria

if you have liver or kidney disease, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely take Doxycycline.

Some medicines may interact with Doxycycline. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:

Barbiturates (eg, phenobarbital), carbamazepine, or hydantoins (eg, phenytoin) because they may decrease Doxycycline's effectiveness

Acitretin or isotretinoin because side effects, such as increased pressure inside the skull (resulting in severe headaches and vision problems) may occur

Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), digoxin, methotrexate, or methoxyflurane because the risk of their side effects may be increased by Doxycycline

Live oral typhoid vaccine, hormonal birth control (eg, birth control pills), or penicillins (eg, amoxicillin) because their effectiveness may be decreased by Doxycycline.

This may not be a complete list of all interactions that may occur. Ask your health care provider if Doxycycline may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.

Important safety information:

Be sure to use Doxycycline for the full course of treatment. If you do not, the medicine may not clear up your infection completely. The bacteria could also become less sensitive to this or other medicines. This could make the infection harder to treat in the future.

Long-term or repeated use of Doxycycline may cause a second infection. Tell your doctor if signs of a second infection occur. Your medicine may need to be changed to treat this.

Mild diarrhea is common with antibiotic use. However, a more serious form of diarrhea (pseudomembranous colitis) may rarely occur. This may develop while you use the antibiotic or within several months after you stop using it. Contact your doctor right away if stomach pain or cramps, severe diarrhea, or blood stools occur. Do not treat diarrhea without first checking with your doctor.

Doxycycline may cause you to become sunburned more easily. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to Doxycycline. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time.

Tell your doctor or dentist that you take Doxycycline before you receive any medical or dental care, emergency care, or surgery.

Hormonal birth control (eg, birth control pills) may not work as well while you are using Doxycycline. To prevent pregnancy, use an extra form of birth control (eg, condoms).

Doxycycline may interfere with certain lab tests. Be sure your doctor and lab personnel know you are using Doxycycline.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Doxycycline has been shown to cause harm to the fetus. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Doxycycline while you are pregnant. Doxycycline is found in breast milk. Do not breastfeed while taking Doxycycline.

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects.

Check with your doctor if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome:

Loss of appetite; nausea; sensitivity to sunlight; vomiting.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these severe side effects occur:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); bloody stools; chest pain; dark urine; decreased urination; fever, chills, or sore throat; moderate to severe sunburn; severe diarrhea; severe or persistent headache; stomach pain or cramps; throat irritation; trouble swallowing; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual joint pain; unusual tiredness; vaginal irritation or discharge; vision changes; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your health care provider.

Pantoprazol

Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) is used for oral contraceptive pill preparations where it is combined with a synthetic progesterone drug. It is a synthetic estrogen similar to the natural female sex hormone estradiol and ia also used as a natural estrogen supplement when the body's production is low, then it is used to control abnormal bleeding from the uterus, and to treat delayed sexual development in females. Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) In conjunction with cyproterone is used to treat severe acne in women. Certain cancers of the prostate respond to Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol).

Your doctor will prescribe the correct dosage of Ethinyl Estradiol for your condition. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand. Do not use more or less than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop using Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) without talking to your doctor.

Take the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, take the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule; this may mean taking two tablets in one day. If you miss two or more doses in a row, use an alternate birth control method (e. g. condoms, spermicides) for at least 7 days and consult the product information or your doctor for a new dosing schedule.

Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.

Active ingredient: Ethinylestradiol

Ethinyl estradiol is a progesterone and estrogen combination birth control pill. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening the mucus in the cervix, and changing the lining of the uterus.

Smoking increases the risk of serious adverse effects on the heart and circulation with Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol).

Antihypertensive drugs and diuretics may have their effectiveness reduced by Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol).

Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) should not be used in women, especially women who are pregnant or plan to get pregnant. It may harm the fetus.

Antibiotics may reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives containing this drug.

Taking anticonvulsants may require a higher dose of oral contraceptives.

Side effects may include:

Oftaquix Eye Drops (Levofloxacin), Oftaquix

Oftaquix eye drops (levofloxacin)

What is it used for?

Bacterial eye infections.

How does it work?

Oftaquix eye drops contain the active ingredient levofloxacin, which is a type of medicine called a quinolone antibiotic. Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria .

Levofloxacin works by killing the bacteria that are causing an infection. It does this by entering the bacterial cells and inhibiting a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This enzyme is involved in replicating and repairing the genetic material (DNA) of the bacteria. If this enzyme doesn't work, the bacteria cannot reproduce or repair themselves and this kills the bacteria. This treats the infection.

ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

Oftaquix eye drops are administered into the eye to treat eye infections caused by specific bacteria that can be killed by levofloxacin. Putting the medicine directly into the eye allows the levofloxacin to act locally on the bacteria that are causing the infection.

Warning!

This medicine is for use in the eye only and must not be taken by mouth.

When using the eye drops you should take care to not touch the tip of the dropper or tube to any surface, or to your eye, in order to avoid contaminating the medicine.

Oftaquix drops may cause your vision to blur temporarily after you have applied them into your eye. Do not drive or operate machinery until this has worn off.

You should not wear contact lenses while you are using Oftaquix eye drops. This is because wearing contact lenses when you have an eye infection can aggravate the condition. You should not wear your contact lenses for 24 hours after you have finished the course of this medicine.

You should consult your doctor if symptoms have not improved within two days of using this medicine, or if you get another eye infection.

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, it is important that you finish the course of this antibiotic (usually five days), even if it seems the infection has cleared up. Stopping the course early increases the chance that the infection will come back and that the bacteria will grow resistant to the antibiotic.

If you get a skin rash or any other sign of allergic reaction after using this medicine, you should stop using it and consult your doctor immediately.

Oftaquix eye drops are sterile until opened. If you have been given unit dose drops, these do not contain a preservative and are intended for single use only. You should use the prescribed number of drops immediately after opening the single dose container and then discard it, even if it still contains some medicine. If you have been given a bottle of Oftaquix eye drops, this contains a preservative and is for multiple uses. However, any medicine that remains in the bottle four weeks after the first opening should be carefully disposed of, as it is likely to be contaminated with germs. You may find it helpful to write the date of first opening on the bottle.

Not to be used in

Children under one year of age.

Allergy to other quinolone-type antibiotics.

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.

If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, before using any medicine.

There is no information available about the safety of this medicine during pregnancy. It should only be used during pregnancy if considered essential by your doctor. Seek medical advice from your doctor.

Levofloxacin passes into breast milk, but the manufacturer states that the dose used in Oftaquix eye drops is not expected to have any harmful effects on a nursing infant. However, these eye drops should only be used during breastfeeding if the benefit to the mother outweighs any potential risk to the nursing infant. Seek medical advice from your doctor.

Dr. Ross Andersen, N. D. "I believe, the single most undiagnosed health challenge in the history if the human race is parasites. I realize that is a pretty brave statement, but it is based on my 20 years of experience with more than 20,000 patients. The original ancient formulas that I have used for many years are still the most effective that I have seen. Only one company that I know of makes these formulas in their original form with the consistently reliable results that I have come to depend on."

Not all parasite cleanses are created equal.

100% Natural - with NO Wormwood or other toxic or potentially dangerous ingredients! Wormwood has been determined to cause numerous serious side-effects in some people; including liver failure and neurological symptoms, characterized by numbness of legs and arms, loss of intellect, delirium, and in some severe cases paralysis. WebMD and numerous reputable clinical studies all corroborate the side-effects.

Wormwood in all forms (as an essential oil, as a liquid tincture, as a dried herb, and as a raw herb) are all collectively identified and listed in the FDA Poisonous Plant Database. and negligently is still being used as an ingredient in many unbalanced parasite cleanse product formulations.

Thujone is a GABAA receptor antagonist that can cause epileptic-like convulsions and kidney failure. Thujone is the toxic active agent contained within the wormwood plant, and is found in all forms of its herbal use. Because of this, wormwood in ANY form (raw, dried herbs, liquid, or extracted oils - all contain this Thujone component) and consequently should be avoided when considering health and safety in an anti-parasite product. It is the opinion of many in the industry that, in addition to the health & safety FDA precautionary warning, wormwood is listed to become a banned herbal ingredient.

Unfortunately, because wormwood is only listed as a stern cautionary warning (but not yet expressly banned within the U. S.), GMP & NGMP Certification does not yet fully protect consumers from its inclusion within dietary supplements. This is why it is important to be informed so you can make healthy choices. Always read the ingredients before choosing and using any herbal cleansing product. Purify is a more safe, healthy and powerfully effective choice!

So the obvious question becomes -- if wormwood is toxic to humans and is known to produce these potentially serious side-effects in people, why is it so common and prevalent in other parasite cleanses within North America? The answer is simply cost . The wormwood plant is grown all over the country and is available widespread, and therefore is a relatively inexpensive and easy-to-obtain herbal ingredient. While the wormwood plant does have some modest anti-parasitical properties, it is the opinion of many Natupaths and Herbologists that there are far better and much more effective anti-parasitical herbs available than wormwood. So why settle for an inferior blend?

In summary, Wormwood has found prevelance as a cheaper ingredient alternative, through marketing spin. However, the reality that it is just simply NOT the best ingredient choice for a more safer, powerful, and effective parasite cleaning experience. However, it is our pledge to you to offer the absolute purest, safest, and most effective blending available -- regardless of the individual ingredient costs. It's all about time-tested effectiveness and results, NOT about cutting corners and maximizing profit margins. We certainly do believe that Purify is the most effective and synergistic herbal blend in the marketplace worldwide.

Purify is a potent secret herbal recipe blend originating from the ancient knowledge of Asian, European & Mediterranean herbologists.

As a 100% all-natural parasite cleanser. Purify is second to none in naturally helping the body to safely address parasites (and their eggs), and to assist with parasite die-off symptoms.

PURIFY --- The Leader in Organic/All-Natural Parasite Cleansing

Ancient Mediteranean Formulation The Purify formulation has been effectively used for nearly a century in the Mediterranean communities as a safe, powerful parasite cleanse. Variations of this same formulation have been traced back for literally thousands of years in ancient cultures and nations. Today, The Life Tree Purify is this same popular blending available in modern times, true to the power and purity of its original creation while following the detailed blending precision of its legacy.

Master Herbalist Formulated The key to an effective parasite cleanse formulation is in POTENCY . PURITY . and BALANCE . This is where the wisdom and knowledge of a Master Herbalist can achieve the proper balance between purity, potency and herbal ratio blends to provide the optimum effectiveness for a total broad-spectrum parasite cleansing experience. It is also vitally critical that the ingredients chosen be ONLY certified organic or wild-harvested! Purify is made exclusively from these premium ingredients and traditionally prepared to modern standards.

The Proper Ingredients & Ratio Balance In the opinion of many Naturopath Doctors and Herbalists - formulations which contain perhaps only 1, 2, or 3 ingredients are simply herbally insufficient to provide a full broad-spectrum cleansing experience throughout the body to effectively help the body address the full life-cycles of a greater range of parasitical invaders. On the other hand, some formulations may perhaps contain too many ingredients which can cause herbal-interaction intereference, and thereby diminish the potential effectiveness for its intended purpose. In popular herbal practitioner opinion, many common excessive-ingredient formulations generally are NOT blended in the most effective benefit ratios. Purify, however, utilizes the more perfect ratios of the essential 12 herbal ingredients which have time-proven themselves to be so efficient and beneficial over the centuries. The key is in the precise herbal balance and synergy of the correct potent ingredients in their proper ratios!

Optimal Absorption Unlike herb capsules and tablets, liquid herbal extracts (and our unique liquid herbal-filled capsule formulation) are readily absorbed, digested, and assimilated by the body to assure the herb's optimal therapeutic benefit. Liquid extract formulations have also been proven to be up to 40x times more potent than their dried herb counterparts, enabling a more complete and effectual cleansing experience.

Herbal Science Herbal extracts are the KEY for maximum potency. For their full therapeutic effect, some plants MUST be extracted while fresh; others only AFTER careful drying. Unlike powder herbal capsule formulations, liquid herbal extracts allow the option of conserving the herb in its natural fresh or its dried state. It makes a huge difference in the effectiveness. This is a vital factor in the science of herbology -- and the exclusive practiced art of a true Master Herbalist.

Verified Effective The award-winning Life Tree Purify has been effectively field-tested in modern times to be effective as in generations prior. Supported today by numerous Naturopathic doctors and veterinarians, Purify has a resounding endorsement from the alternative medical community.

What Makes Purify The Superior Parasite Cleanse?

Simply said. it's in the results! Our mission is to comb the globe in search of the "best of the best" 100% natural herbal products. The Purify formula has proven itself to us to be the most effective parasite cleanser that we have ever found. It's not only the balance and preciseness of the herbal mixtures, but all of the ingredients are also organic in composition and purity - making Purify truly unparalleled in its potency and effectiveness! No fillers & no additives - only the purest, highest-grade natural ingredients are used in Purify!

Herbology as an ancient science has been tried and proven throughout time. It has only been recently that the American culture has tried to capitalize on this time-tested wisdom. Unfortunately, many of today's herbs and supplements are missing the key factor that governs it's success: and that is balance! The truth of the matter is that unbalanced herbal combinations may actually be harmful to your body. Our Master Herbalist brings all of his herbal knowledge and wisdom with the care and attention that only a true master herbologist can provide, and has formulated a precision in the herbal formulas that are proven to achieve the optimum results. It is not only the purity and combination of herbs that makes his recipes so effective, but it is also in the ratio of these herbal components. It has been called by some 'the science of ancient herbology'!

100% Natural with Certified Organic & Wildcrafted Ingredients:

NO artificial ingredients.

NO fillers or contravening ingredients.

NO potentially dangerous toxic herbal ingredients (eg.) wormwood .

Perfectly balanced and blended for superior results.

Formulated & blended utilizing the wisdom of a Master Herbalist.

In fact, all of the natural components and herbs in the Purify formula have been used for centuries and centuries. They have have been used throughout the times of Chinese Empire, the Egyptian Empire, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, the old Turkish Empire, and through the history of the Mediterranean cultures. However it is only under the wisdom of a Master Herbalist that the culmination of all this ancient knowledge has been precision-blended and perfected into a single formulation recipe. Purify truly is the personification of the herbal wisdom of the ages.

Unfortunately most parasite cleanse products not only may cause disruptive side effects but are limited in their effectiveness, addressing only one particular parasitic organism in limited areas of the body. Also, many colon cleansing products inaccurately market themselves as a parasite cleanser. Considering the wide range of human parasites and their survivalist ability to roam the body, effective complete elimination is only possible through a more broad-spectrum formula to help assist in the removal of a wide variety of human parasites throughout the entire body.

Everything you eat, drink, or handle could be inviting unwanted guests to set up home inside your body. Most people do not want to even think of the possibility of it being true, but it is the reality of the world in which we live in. Harmful organisms affect billions of people worldwide of all races and demographic regions. It's estimated that more than 150 million Americans alone may have these invaders lurking within their bodies without even knowing it!

Conservatively, it's estimated that 85% of the population may have some form of parasite lurking in their bodies! These intruders live in and feed off the host, depriving them of vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids; altering natural pH levels, decreasing energy levels, and creating an acidic environment within the body. Purify aids the body in helping to create an inhospitable environment for these harmful invaders.

Compromised health may be a direct result of parasite infestation in our bodies. These invaders live off our body's life-force and the sustenance that we ingest. In addition to a loss of nourishment and cellular damage, the toxicities produced by these creatures play havoc with our immune system and degrade the optimum health of their host. Sickness, disease, and numerous health challenges can be the direct resultant of continued exposure and infestation. But unhealthy organisms can be safely eliminated from the human body.

What exactly is a parasite? A parasitical organism is a life form that lives off the host, the host being you or me. The parasites live a parallel life inside our bodies - feeding off either our own energy, our own cells or the food we eat, and even feeding off the health supplements we use. In recent medical studies, it has been estimated that 85% of the North American adult population has at least one form of invading organism living in their bodies. Some authorities feel that this figure may be as high as 95%.

The immediate question that comes to mind when people are informed of this situation is: How can a parasite possibly live in my body and I don't even know it is there? The answer to this is simple. The purpose of a parasitical organism is to not make itself known. A smart invader lives without being detected because if it is detected, of course, something is going to be done to eradicate it. If you think these organisms are stupid, think again. They are highly intelligent invaders. Not intelligent in the same way humans are, but they are intelligent in their ability to survive and reproduce, which is of course, the purpose of any life form on the planet.

Harmful organisms live everywhere and are commonly transmitted to humans in diverse ways, such as insect bites, walking barefoot, handling objects, human contact, animal contact, water, fruits & vegetables, eating under-cooked meats and fish, and numerous other ways. Government inspectors simply do not inspect most of the animals that go through the slaughterhouse, but rather a sampling is done. What about salads, or even raw fruits and vegetables? Eating raw foods always increases the risk of invaders. According to the Center of Disease Control (CDC), illnesses linked with fruits and vegetables are on the rise. One reason could be the increased demand for fresh produce. We now import 30 billion tons of food a year into this country. Some of the produce comes from developing nations where sanitation facilities are less advanced or they commonly practice the use of human feces as fertilizer (night soil). The further products travel, the more likely they will pick up illness-causing microbes. It also increases the chance of being contaminated by infected food handlers. Food handlers have been in the news lately because of their role in the spread of parasites. Some people who prepare food, as well as the general population do not wash their hands after going to the bathroom. When you consider that many of the unhealthy organisms are spread by fecal-oral contact, this lack of personal hygiene may be one of the more common factors in the spread of these invaders. Consider everything that you touch that is handled by others; money, shopping carts, door handles, menus, salt shakers, and everything else -- the possibilities for contamination are enormous.

In spite of some efforts to control parasites, their global impact has not been appreciably reduced for a variety of reasons. Why are parasitic infections among the world's greatest neglected situation? The illusion is that it simply can't be happening. because no one is really talking about it. You don't hear the newspapers and television stations reporting it enough. You don't see people asking for larger donations to research the effects of invading organisms. When a topic is rarely discussed, who is going to take it seriously?

Funding is very low for any research into this area, even if harmful organisms are the considered by some health professionals to be the single most undiagnosed health challenge in the history of the human race. We potentially have a tremendous parasite problem right here in the United States, even if it is not being properly addressed. It takes an informed person to take charge of the health of their own body. Research the facts and with an adequate cleansing regime, the effects of exposure and the continued reinfection prevalent in the course of our lifetimes, can be minimized and brought under control - resulting in perhaps reduced illness and disease in our lives.

Almost everyone has parasites. It's simply a fact of life. Even Dr. Oz, the now famous Oprah Winfrey guest says. "ninety percent of humans will have a problem with parasites in their lifetime." Parasites are not just something that other people get in developing countries. Everywhere we go, during just about everything we do, North Americans are potentially vulnerable to parasitic infestation.

If you are not convinced that intestinal parasites are real, check out the recent image of Oprah and Dr. Oz holding "wormzilla," a human intestinal tapeworm.

The safe, natural alternative to remove parasites!

A parasite is an organism that lives off the life force of another organism, such as an animal or a human. Parasites eat the food that we eat, excrete in our system, and can also travel throughout our body. While there are over 3000 varieties of parasites, they basically fall into two major groups: protozoa and worms. Protozoa are single-celled parasites. When ingested, they germinate, reproduce and can cause havoc within our bodies. Worms come in all sizes, from thread worms, measuring less than one centimeter, to tapeworms up to 12 meters in length. Once inside our bodies, their presence could greatly add to the degradation of our overall health.

If you are like most people, you will be surprised and at the same time horrified as you witness the results. The thought that other life forms are living inside of our bodies sounds more a science fiction movie, but the reality of the fact is that for most people, a myriad of parasitical creatures call our bodies (and our pet's bodies) home.

Some people call parasites the "great masqueraders". Many types are so well adapted to living in their human host that no obvious symptoms are presented. When you last saw your physician for an illness, did anyone ask you what you ate or if you had a preference for rare steak? Did they ask you about your recent travel plans to other countries? Did anyone event hint that the real cause of your health challenges might be related to parasites? According to the American Medical Association, physicians only correctly diagnose a disease 16 percent of the time; that's one out of six. The average medical laboratory is lucky to correctly diagnose specific parasites 20 percent of the time. Is there any wonder a physician might not connect symptoms, especially vague ones, to parasites?

The longer a parasites is in the human body, the more likely there will be some damage, depending upon the target site of infection. If the parasite is in the intestinal tract, one of the things that the body will do is to produce more mucus to protect the intestinal cells. Unfortunately, this coating interferes with digestion, leading to the mal-absorption of important nutrients, particularly fats and fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A and E. As the parasites continue to flourish, they take more nutrition and leave us malnourished.

Part of detecting the presence of a parasite in the body is being able to read the body's signals and how to interpret them. Maybe you have not been paying enough attention to your symptoms, or you think that something else is causing the problem. It is amazing that so many people think that having chronic problems and other "vague" symptoms are just something you have to live with. Parasitic-related symptoms can come from anywhere in the body because they can reside almost anywhere. No organ or tissue is immune from possible infestation or from their toxic waste products .

C Note: Testimonies are genuine and relate to their personal experiences while using Purify™. Results will vary between individuals, as everybody is different in both their level of health and in potential parasitic proliferation.

Although we have an extensive repository of testimonies from users reporting their positive experiences while using the Purify™ product, only a small sampling of testimonies have been re-printed below (published with permission):

"I had incredible results in just one month on the colon and parasite cleanse. I had no idea about the damage that chronic constipation and parasites can do to your body. I always thought that one bowel movement a day was normal, but I quickly learned otherwise when on the first day of using Cleanse FX I had regular bowel movements. I had used other colon cleanses before but never with these types of positive results. I was amazed at the strips of impacted fecal matter and large amounts of mucus that I passed. The results I got on the parasite cleanse were just as dramatic. In the first week I passed a lot of pin worms, and then over the next several weeks continued to pass a variety of other parasites including flukes and three tapeworms 4 to 6 inches in length. It was shocking to see as these things pass out of my body because I had done other parasite cleanses in the past, but had never actually seen parasites expelled by my body before. The improvement in my health was very dramatic. hank you so much for these wonderful products. I feel ten years younger!" K. Banek (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I never thought I could have any parasites, I cook all my foods well and take 2 showers a day, but after being taking the parasite cleanser for 3 weeks, I passed an intestinal fluke that made me think again." D. Rienstra (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I have tried several different programs, but this Master Herbalist formula is the absolute best product. Compared to others on the market, Purify has produced without question the best results for me. There is no better testimony than personal experience, and I would recommend the Cleanse & Rebuild program to everyone." F. Jameson (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I don't know why every generation prior to modern times made de-worming a regular part of their lives, but our generation chooses to ignores this basic practice. It is recognized that people in third world countries have parasites. It is also recognized that most of the animals we eat, and pets who live in our homes have parasites and worms, but we seem to dismiss the notion that we, as North Americans, might also have them living within us as well. For whatever reason the medical profession chooses to try to down-play this fact. But this knowledge is becoming more and more publicly aware in this day. My wife and I had both tried various other cleanse products and programs (and even a few herbal mixtures of our own design) but have never had these kinds of results. We previously tried taking the raw ingredients as listed on various bottles as individual dietary supplements. But we found that it wasn't enough to achieve the utmost results, I guess because it is also as important to get the correct mixture ratios. Purify truly does have the proper balance. I know it sounds awful to know that these creatures are living inside of us all, but I'd rather have them gone than to think that I will continue to house and feed these critters for more years to come. I feel so much better in my overall health than I used to." K. M. (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I had been suffering with many health problems, even from the age of a young girl. But my life was revolutionized when I tried the cleansing program. I was always tired and never had the energy I thought I should have had, but now I feel young and energized again. I was always sick -- it seemed that whatever was going around, I was sure to get it. My level of health has improved 100%. The Detox & Rebuild Combo has truly helped give me back my health." J. McDaniels (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"This recipe is absolutely the best. Even within a few days of taking it. I could see them there in the bowl, plain as day! Nobody can tell me that parasites are not living in us. When I think about the worms and things I passed, and knowing that only a few of them are even viewable with our eyes; I can't imagine just how many of them may have been inside of me. I'm so happy to get rid of them. My health has improved dramatically ever since. The Purify blend truly has the magical herbal formulation for the most effective cleansing." J. D. Logan (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I started taking Purify parasite cleanse about a month and a half ago. I had been on another parasite cleanse program for about a year, with little effect. Immediately after taking the Purify cleanse, I noticed a great increase in the elimination. Needless to say, I was grossly infested with them. Before taking the cleanse, I experienced excruciating itching in my feet, which I thought was athletic, which has completely stopped; itching nose, ears, and scalp, all of which have either stopped or decreased considerably. I started with the Purify capsules, now I am taking the liquid, both of which is outstanding in effectiveness. I am not completely parasite-free at this time, but I am so much better than I was prior to taking this product. I will certainly continue through the 90-day program. This product is exceptionally easy on your system. I experienced no side effects. I just had to add the way my energy and motivation level has increased. I have the initiative to do things that I just couldn't get the energy or motivation to do before. Thank you so much." D. Meggett (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"While using this product I passed what looked like rice-shaped things. I was terrified. I mean to think that humans can carry such things in their body was overwhelming. Thank you guys!" C. Henderson (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I have been taking Purify for three weeks. This product is great! My energy is amazing. I no longer want to take naps during the day. On the second week of using the herbal cleanse, I passed what looked to be small hook-shaped things. A couple of days latter, I passed other 'unknown things'. For almost a year, I had a 'gnawing' like feeling in my stomach - but that has gone away. I don't have the feeling that something is moving around in my stomach anymore either. I am telling everyone I know about this product. I will be ordering more for myself and family. This product is an answer to my prayers!" S. Good (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I do not crave as many sweets as I used to. My wife says I seem "nicer". I'm not so grumpy all the time. I plan to do a 90 cleanse to make sure that I totally cleanse my body. This is a great product. My wife and I are very glad we ordered it." D. G. (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"When beginning to take your product I felt better almost immediately. I had more energy, I didn't get sore as easily, and I felt like my mind had become more clean, I didn't even realize I had brain fog until it lifted that morning a couple hours after taking Purify. I feel like I have so much energy, I sleep extremely well and wake up early in the morning feeling rested. I would recommend this product to anyone. It makes such a difference in my quality of life that it's well worth the cost, I like to take Purify whenever I feel like I am getting too easily fatigued and have aches, and when I have gone too long between cleanses." O. Gillett (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I have used powerful medicines and have tried some herbal approaches to improve the flora in my digestive system and to boost my immune systems. There hasn't until now been a path to healing that had any permanent results. Since I began using Purify I have seen parasites. I definitely found worms and seen some other creatures as well. I feel better than I have felt in years. I am amazed, and I feel that it's likely that parasites have been my main problem now, after seeing the results. I have more energy and vitality and I am convinced that I am on the proper healing path now. I've been praying for this. I believe I am improving a day at a time and encourage all to use this product, Purify." M. Iadonisi (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I am so glad I have tried The Life Tree Purify - Parasite Cleanse. I have been sick with various symptoms, but doctors could not find anything wrong. As soon as I started the cleanse with - Purify - my energy level increased dramatically, and all the symptoms mentions above faded and then disappeared. I feel better than I felt in years. Thank you for giving me the help others could not give me!!" M. Mihalcescu (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"During the cleanse I saw long round worms (dead) come out in my stools, who knows what came out that I didn't see. I continue to take a maintenance dose of 30 drops of Purify per day. I feel this is important for me with my history and that I teach preschool children in the fitness center I own. Our two cats and dog have drops in their food every day. I will also be traveling to Mexico in November and know it's important to keep my immune system strong when traveling. Thank you for this program." S. Kargela (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I hereby declare that the "Purify" product has been immensely helpful to me. I was suffering from the harmful affects of having "Hook-worms" in my body. D. Ramnaresh (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"Several days into the cleanse, I noticed some "things" in the stool. It looked like white rice, but bigger in size! I was shocked, but I took it as a good sign, something was happening! The stool smelled stronger than usual also, most unpleasant. I kept going and I felt my overall energy improving, and I had less and less strange sensation in the stomach and abdomen. Thank you for these products, I would highly recommend them to my friends, it has really improved my well-being." C. Stack (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I did the liver and colon cleanses and on day two I had an energy burst that I could not believe. When I started on the Parasite cleanse, my results were astonishing. I was disgusted, yet relieved, at the things that came out of me! Needless to say, I am very grateful for this help. My immune system is way up, and I'm working out at least three days a week now because I have energy. My positive attitude is amazing now, and I can't stop telling people how great I feel. I recommend this for everyone!" C. Basoco (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I saw lots of worms come out of me while using this product. I feel so much better. People say I even look younger!" C. B. (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"When I first started my program, I noticed many changes in my body. Every day I would feel that I had more energy to go through my daily routine. I started to notice many changes that were not existent before. After I would look at what I passed and I noticed various string-like objects that were not there before. Before I knew of The Life Tree, I often suffered in my digestive system. As a result this greatly affected my diet and limited the amount or time of the day I could eat. As a result of my program I can eat a lot more and often without having to worry about problems." T. N. (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"I suffered from a pretty bad tapeworm and I had tried everything from eating raw garlic to smoking cigarettes (I know, Stupid!). At my wits end, I found the Life Tree website and I probably read every word on the site at least twice. I was hesitant to spend fifty dollars on some pills, but now I can say that it was the best investment I've ever made in my young life. In three days I felt better than I had in a month of battling this horrible thing in my intestines. I took the first solid stool of considerable size in a month and it was glorious! I could see lots of segments of the worm coming out and I knew I was heading in the right direction, back towards my former self. I had every symptom in the book for Worms and they all disappeared as I progressed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in America who thinks parasites are just in poor countries. Take this stuff and have your eyes opened!" M. Lintz (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

"This stuff really works for me! I was skeptical at first when I read some of the previous testimonies about the Purify, but I wanted to give it an honest chance. After two weeks I am a believer! I could not believe I had been hosting these things for who knows how long. I noticed I feel healthier and have more energy than I had two weeks ago. All I can say is that Purify really does what it is advertised to do. My wife is now using Purify also. You have a customer for life!" R. Myers (*Note: results may vary from person to person)

ABC World News Tonight reported: "Most health problems are caused by unhealthy organisms". In numerous studies the alarming report has been revealed that this problem is more prevalent than many had anticipated. In response to this news, many informed individuals and health care practitioners have been utilizing the age-old usage of herbal solutions to combat this threat. Cleanse FX has become the selected choice by many to become part of their normal daily dietary program.

There are hundreds of species of parasites, yet today's common medical screening procedures normally only test to identify only a few! There are two major categories of parasites: large parasites, which are primarily worms, and small parasites. Because of their microscopic size, they can burrow into the muscle, bones, or joints. Some of them may feed off the calcium linings of the bones or even the protein coating on your nerves, which can disrupt the nerve impulses to the brain. Parasites also secrete toxins, generating toxic build-up and stressing the immune system.

It is important to understand that as long as we live on this planet, there is an ever-present risk of exposure to unhealthy organisms. A parasite cleanse can help you to counteract some of that exposure. For superior results, we suggest using Cleanse FX (colon cleanser) with Purify. These two products, when used together - cleanse the body, assist in the healthy restoration of natural functions, and in our opinion are superior to any other like products in the marketplace.

"Other prominent physicians agree with me; that in human history, the parasite challenge is likely the most unrecognized of all endemic problems. Because they cannot be seen and rarely present immediate symptoms, they remain invisible as a cause or contributing factor to what can be a serious disorder." - Dr. Ross Andersen, N. D.

"We have a tremendous parasite problem right here in the United States. It is just not being addressed." - Dr. Peter Wina, Chief of the Patho-Biology in the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in 1991.

"In terms of numbers there are more parasitic infections acquired in this country than in Africa." - Dr. Frank Nova, Chief of the Laboratory for Parasitic Diseases of the National Institute of Health.

"It is well documented that parasites will cause malnutrition by using the nutrients a victim consumes - making them unavailable for the infected person. It makes sense to use a safe reliable parasite cleanse in any chronic health challenge to ensure that you are not feeding someone else instead of yourself." - Dr. Ross Andersen, N. D.

"Most individuals would be truly amazed if they knew the extraordinarily high number of Americans who are unknowingly infected by parasites." - Dr. Hermann R. Bueno, Specialist in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Parasitic infestations may promote compromised health in their hosts. Parasites live off our body's life-force and the sustenance that we ingest. In addition to a loss of nourishment and cellular damage, the toxicities produced by these creatures play havoc with our immune system and degrade the optimum health of their host.

You probably have never seen a parasite. So, why would you worry about them? Since we have good sanitation, how could we possibly have parasites? The World Health Organization categorizes parasites as among the six most harmful afflictions that infect humans. The magnitude of these infections is absolutely staggering. You may think that such polluted conditions do not exist in the United States, but you would be wrong. Most people think that parasitic infections only occur in distant parts of the world such as impoverished rural areas in the third-world countries, or in the tropics. Nothing could be further from the truth. Because of this misconception, many people have overlooked the possibility of parasites as being present in their own bodies. Most people recognize the names of parasites such as tapeworms and pinworms, but they are completely unaware of the variety and quantity present in the population as a whole. These potentially harmful parasites, and their affects, are increasingly prevalent in the United States. Parasites should be an important part of every medical evaluation in the care of their patients.

The August 2000 edition of Discover magazine published a headline article on parasites. Selected excerpts are reproduced below:

?Every living thing has at least one parasite that lives inside or on it, and many, including humans, have far more.

Parasites have largely been neglected. Scientists have treated them with indifference, even contempt, viewing them as essentially hitchhikers on life's road. But recent research reveals that parasites are remarkably sophisticated and tenacious. Some castrate their hosts and take over their minds. Others completely shut down the immune systems of their hosts.

Scientists are only just beginning to discover exactly how powerful these hidden inhabitants can be, but their research is pointing to a remarkable possibility: Parasites may rule the world.

The notion that tiny creatures we've largely taken for granted are such a dominant force is immensely disturbing.

We are collections of cells that work together, kept harmonized by chemical signals. If an organism can control those signals? an organism like a parasite? then it can control us. And therein lies the peculiar and precise horror of parasites."

Purify is a natural answer to the help your body. Infestation of these invaders in the human body are more prevalent than most people had previously imagined - but Purify is nature's solution to assist your body.

A Good Cleanse is a Truly Effective Cleanse. Purify is the Natural Answer!

Total Body Parasite Purge: 30 Days Total Body Comprehensive Parasite Purge: 90 Days

The length of the program is determined by the level of individual cleansing required; as dictated by the type of parasites present, the number of parasites, and the infestation locations within the body.

There are literally several hundreds of parasitical varieties and species that can call the human body home. Of these, approximately 200+ organisms are classified as 'standard' and thereby can effectively be dealt with in less than a month. Of the remaining h'hardy' classified parasitical invaders, they simply require a longer application to effectively eradicate through safe herbal methods. Most people who have parasites generally have more than one kind of parasite living in their body, consisting of a mixture of both the standard and hardy varieties. A truly comprehensive parasite cleanse product should address a full-body purge of BOTH the standard and hardy parasites.

Unfortunately there are products in the marketplace which promote deceptive marketing and advertisments to suggest inflated results and a condensed time-frame for a 'total parasite' cleanse. Research proves otherwise. Based upon ingredient properties and historical research, sadly such statements are more 'advertising hype' than reality. To adequately deal with a broad-spectrum approach to parasite cleansing in conjunction with a whole-body objective, an effective herbal blend along with an adequate portion of time MUST be utilized to maximize and more effectively deal with a whole life-cycle remedy. In summary, do not be fooled by unethical marketing tactics. as there are simply no shortcuts to genuine effective and natural results. Ensure that you do a comprehensive Master Herbalist-formulated cleanse to achieve the desired maximum results!

Eta Biocortilen V. C. combina activitatea antibacteriana a asociatiei Neomicina-Gramicidin, antibiotice foarte eficiente in infectiile oculare, cu cea antiinflamatorie a Dexametazonei.

Adalat - Blood Pressure, Pharmaniaga Nifedipine

Adalat is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). Adalat is in a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Adalat relaxes (widens) your blood vessels (veins and arteries), which makes it easier for the heart to pump and reduces its workload.

Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results.

Take Adalat on an empty stomach. Do not crush, chew, or break a tablet. Swallow it whole. Breaking the pill may cause too much of the drug to be released at one time.

Do not stop taking Adalat even if you feel fine. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medication for the rest of your life.

Your blood pressure will need to be checked often and you may need other blood tests at your doctor's office. Visit your doctor regularly.

If you miss a dose of Adalat, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Adalat.

Store Adalat at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Adalat out of the reach of children and away from pets.

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to Adalat: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect while using Adalat such as:

worsening angina;

feeling like you might pass out;

feeling short of breath, swelling in your hands or feet;

fast or pounding heartbeats;

numbness or tingly feeling;

jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes); or

chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling.

Less serious side effects may include:

headache, dizziness;

drowsiness, tired feeling;

nausea, constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain;

urinating more than usual.

This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your health care provider.

Adalat is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). Adalat is in a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Adalat relaxes (widens) your blood vessels (veins and arteries), which makes it easier for the heart to pump and reduces its workload.

Take Adalat exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Active Ingredient: Nifedipine.

if you have kidney or liver disease (especially cirrhosis), coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, or digestive problems

Consumer Medicine Information

What is in this leaflet

This leaflet answers some common questions about Karvezide. It does not contain all the available information. It does not take the place of talking to your doctor or pharmacist.

All medicines have benefits and risks. Your doctor has weighed the benefits of you taking this medicine against the risks it will have for you.

If you have any concerns about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep this leaflet with your medicine. You may need to read it again.

What Karvezide is used for

Karvezide is used to lower high blood pressure, which doctors call hypertension.

Everyone has blood pressure. This pressure helps get your blood all around your body. Your blood pressure may be different at different times of the day, depending on how busy or worried you are. You have hypertension (high blood pressure) when your blood pressure stays higher than is needed, even when you are calm and relaxed.

There are often no symptoms of high blood pressure. The only way of knowing that you have high blood pressure is to have your blood pressure checked on a regular basis.

If high blood pressure is not treated it can lead to serious health problems, such as stroke, heart disease and kidney failure.

How Karvezide works

Karvezide contains irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Both medicines reduce blood pressure in different ways. Irbesartan belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. Angiotensin-II is a substance produced in the body that causes blood vessels to narrow. Irbesartan blocks angiotensin-II and therefore widens your blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body. This helps to lower your blood pressure.

Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to the class of medicines known as diuretics. Diuretics cause an increase in the volume of urine. They also help with lowering blood pressure particularly when combined with other blood pressure reducing medicines.

Your doctor may have prescribed Karvezide for another reason. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why Karvezide has been prescribed for you.

This medicine is only available with a doctor's prescription.

There is no evidence that this medicine is addictive.

How to take Karvezide

How much to take

Karvezide will usually be prescribed by your doctor if previous treatment does not produce a sufficient drop in your blood pressure. Your doctor will tell you how to switch from your previous treatment to Karvezide.

The usual dose of Karvezide is one tablet a day. The full blood pressure lowering effect should be reached 6-8 weeks after beginning treatment. If your blood pressure is not satisfactorily reduced with Karvezide, your doctor may prescribe another medicine to be taken with Karvezide.

How to take it

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

It does not matter whether you take Karvezide tablets before or after food.

When to take it

Take Karvezide at about the same time each day. Taking your tablets at the same time each day will have the best effect. It will also help you remember when to take the tablets.

How long to take it

Continue taking Karvezide until your doctor tells you to stop. Karvezide helps control your high blood pressure but does not cure it. Therefore Karvezide must be taken every day.

To help you remember to take your tablets each day, Karvezide tablets are supplied in a Calendar pack with the foil backing marked with the days of the week. This is just a way to help you to remember to take your tablets. All of the tablets in the pack are the same.

When you start a new strip of tablets, take the tablet marked "START". On the next day, take the tablet marked with the relevant day of the week.

Continue taking your tablets each day until all of the tablets are taken. Commence the next strip at "START" and continue as before.

If you forget to take it

If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose when you are meant to. Otherwise, take it as soon as you remember, and go back to taking your tablets as you would normally.

Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed. This may increase the chance of you getting any unwanted side effects.

If you have trouble remembering to take your tablets, ask your pharmacist for some hints.

If you take too much (overdose)

Immediately telephone your doctor or Poisons Information Centre (telephone: 13 11 26) or go to Accident and Emergency at your nearest hospital, if you think that you or anyone else may have taken too much Karvezide.

Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention.

If you take too many Karvezide tablets, you will probably feel lightheaded or dizzy.

While you are using Karvezide

Things you must do

Tell any other doctors, dentists and pharmacists who are treating you that you are taking Karvezide.

If you become pregnant while taking Karvezide tell your doctor immediately.

Have your blood pressure checked when your doctor tells you to, to make sure Karvezide is working.

If you are about to be started on any new medicine, tell your doctor and pharmacist that you are taking Karvezide.

If you plan to have surgery or other treatment (even at the dentist) that needs an anaesthetic, make sure that you tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking Karvezide. Your blood pressure may drop suddenly.

Make sure you drink enough water during exercise and hot weather when you are taking Karvezide, especially if you sweat a lot. If you do not drink enough water while taking Karvezide, you may faint or feel light-headed or sick. This is because your body does not have enough fluid and your blood pressure is low. If you continue to feel unwell, tell your doctor.

If you have excessive vomiting and/or diarrhoea while taking Karvezide, tell your doctor. You may lose too much water and salt and your blood pressure may drop too much.

If you feel light-headed or dizzy after taking your first dose of Karvezide, or when your dose is increased, tell your doctor immediately.

Things you must not do

Do not give Karvezide tablets to anyone else, even if they have the same condition as you.

Do not take Karvezide to treat any other complaints unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to.

Do not stop taking Karvezide, or lower the dosage, without checking with your doctor.

Things to be careful of

If you feel light-headed, dizzy or faint when getting out of bed or standing up, get up slowly. Standing up slowly, especially when you get up from bed or chairs, will help your body get used to the change in position and blood pressure. If this problem continues or gets worse, talk to your doctor.

Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how Karvezide affects you. As with many other medicines used to treat high blood pressure, Karvezide may cause dizziness or light-headedness in some people. If this occurs do not drive. Make sure you know how you react to Karvezide before you drive a car, operate machinery or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are dizzy or light-headed. If you drink alcohol, dizziness or light-headedness may be worse.

The hydrochlorothiazide contained in this medicine could produce a positive analytical result in an antidoping test.

Things that would be helpful for lowering your blood pressure

Some self-help measures suggested below may help your condition. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about these measures and for more information.

Alcohol - your doctor may advise you to limit your alcohol intake.

Weight - if you are overweight, your doctor may suggest losing some weight to help lower your blood pressure and help lessen the amount of work your heart has to do. Some people may need a dietician's help to lose weight.

Diet - your doctor may advise you to eat a healthy low-fat diet which includes plenty of fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, cereals and fish.

Salt - your doctor may advise you to watch the amount of salt in your diet. To reduce your salt intake you should avoid using salt in cooking or at the table.

Exercise - regular exercise helps to reduce blood pressure and helps get the heart fitter, but it is important not to overdo it. Walking is good exercise, but try to find a route that is reasonably flat. Before starting any exercise, ask your doctor about the best kind of programme for you.

Smoking - your doctor may advise you to stop smoking or at least cut down.

Side effects

Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel well while you are taking Karvezide. Karvezide helps most people with high blood pressure, but it may have unwanted side effects in a few people. All medicines can have side effects. Sometimes they are serious. Most of the time they are not. You may need medical treatment if you get some of the side effects.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist to answer any questions you may have.

Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you:

headache

dizziness or light-headedness (vertigo)

unusual tiredness or weakness, fatigue

pain in the stomach or gut nausea and/or vomiting

sexual problems

These are generally mild and do not normally require treatment to be interrupted.

Tell your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following:

skin rash or itchiness

aching muscles or sore joints, not caused by exercise

muscle pain or weakness

buzzing, ringing or other persistent noise in the ears

changes in heart rhythm

you are not urinating (passing water) as much as normal

numbness or tingling in fingers or toes

painful, swollen joints that may be symptoms of gout

fainting

yellowing of the skin and/or eyes, also known as jaundice

symptoms that may occur if you have developed diabetes, such as excessive thirst, passing greatly increased amounts of urine, increased appetite with weight loss, feeling tired, drowsy, weak, depressed, irritable and generally unwell

symptoms that may indicate kidney disease such as passing little or no urine, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, breathlessness, loss of appetite and weakness

symptoms that may indicate high potassium levels in the blood such as nausea, diarrhoea, muscle weakness and changes in heart rhythm

symptoms that may indicate liver disease such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, feeling generally unwell, fever, itching, yellowing of the skin and eyes and dark coloured urine

disturbances in your vision (such as blurred vision and seeing haloes around lights) and eye pain.

These are serious side effects. Skin rash and itchiness may be symptoms of an allergic reaction.

You may need medical attention. These side effects are not common.

If any of the following happen, stop taking Karvezide and either tell your doctor immediately or go to Accident and Emergency at your nearest hospital:

swelling to the face, lips, tongue or throat, which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing.

severe and a sudden onset of pinkish, itchy swellings on the skin, also called hives or nettlerash.

These are very serious side effects. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalisation.

These side effects are very rare.

Other side effects not listed above may occur in some patients. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice anything that is making you feel unwell.

After using Karvezide

Storage

Keep your Karvezide tablets in the blister pack until it is time to take them. If you take the tablets out of the blister pack they will not keep well.

Keep Karvezide tablets in a cool dry place where the temperature stays below 25°C. Do not store Karvezide or any other medicine in the bathroom near a sink. Do not leave them near a radiator, in a car on a hot day or on a window sill. Heat and dampness can destroy some medicines.

Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. A locked cupboard at least one-and-a-half metres above the ground is a good place to store medicines.

Disposal

If your doctor tells you to stop taking Karvezide or the tablets have passed their expiry date, ask your pharmacist what to do with any tablets that are left over.

Metoclopramide Uses, Dosage, Side Effects, Apo-Metoclopramida

Metoclopramide

Metoclopramide increases muscle contractions in the upper digestive tract. This speeds up the rate at which the stomach empties into the intestines.

Metoclopramide is used short-term to treat heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux in people who have used other medications without relief of symptoms.

Metoclopramide is also used to treat slow gastric emptying in people with diabetes (also called diabetic gastroparesis), which can cause nausea, vomiting, heartburn, loss of appetite, and a feeling of fullness after meals.

Metoclopramide may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Important information

NEVER TAKE METOCLOPRAMIDE IN LARGER AMOUNTS THAN RECOMMENDED, OR FOR LONGER THAN 12 WEEKS.

High doses or long-term use of metoclopramide can cause a serious movement disorder that may not be reversible. Symptoms of this disorder include uncontrollable muscle movements of your lips, tongue, eyes, face, arms, or legs. The longer you take metoclopramide, the more likely you are to develop a serious movement disorder. The risk of this side effect is higher in women, diabetics, and older adults.

You should not take this medication if you are allergic to metoclopramide, or if you have bleeding or blockage in your stomach or intestines, epilepsy or other seizure disorder, or an adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma).

Before you take metoclopramide, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, or a history of depression.

Do not drink alcohol. It can increase some of the side effects of metoclopramide.

There are many other medicines that can interact with metoclopramide. Tell your doctor about all medications you use. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal products. Do not start a new medication without telling your doctor. Keep a list of all your medicines and show it to any healthcare provider who treats you.

Stop using metoclopramide and call your doctor at once if you have tremors or uncontrolled muscle movements, fever, stiff muscles, confusion, sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats, rapid breathing, depressed mood, thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself, hallucinations, anxiety, agitation, seizure, or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes).

Before taking this medicine

You should not take this medication if you are allergic to metoclopramide, or if you have:

bleeding or blockage in your stomach or intestines;

a perforation (hole) in your stomach or intestines;

epilepsy or other seizure disorder; or

an adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma).

To make sure you can safely take metoclopramide, tell your doctor if you have any of these other conditions:

kidney disease;

liver disease (especially cirrhosis);

congestive heart failure, a heart rhythm disorder;

high blood pressure;

diabetes (your insulin dose may need adjusting); or

depression or mental illness.

FDA pregnancy category B. Metoclopramide is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Metoclopramide can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

The metoclopramide orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) may contain phenylalanine. Talk to your doctor before using this form of metoclopramide if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).

Metoclopramide should not be given to a child.

How should I take metoclopramide?

Take metoclopramide exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Metoclopramide is usually taken for only 4 to 12 weeks. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

Take metoclopramide 30 minutes before eating. Metoclopramide is usually taken before meals and at bedtime. Your doctor may want you to take the medication as needed only with meals that usually cause heartburn. Follow your doctor's instructions.

Measure the liquid medicine with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular table spoon. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.

To take metoclopramide orally disintegrating tablet (ODT):

Keep the tablet in its bottle or blister pack until you are ready to take the medicine. Make sure your hands are dry before handling a tablet. If the tablet breaks or melts in your hand, throw it away and use a new tablet.

Place the tablet on your tongue. It will begin to melt right away. Do not swallow the tablet whole. Allow it to melt in your mouth without chewing.

Swallow several times as the tablet melt. You do not need to drink liquid to help the tablet melt.

Do not take two different forms of metoclopramide (such as tablets and oral syrup) at the same time. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. After you stop taking metoclopramide, you may have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms such as headache, dizziness, or nervousness. Talk to your doctor about how to avoid withdrawal symptoms when stopping the medication.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. Overdose symptoms may include drowsiness, confusion, tremors or uncontrolled muscle movements in your face or neck, or seizure (convulsions).

What should I avoid?

Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase some of the side effects of metoclopramide. This medicine may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.

Metoclopramide side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to metoclopramide: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Adults and pediatric patients greater than or equal to 14 years: 10 mg IV as a single dose administered over 1 to 2 minutes to facilitate gastric emptying where delayed gastric emptying interferes with radiological examination of the stomach and/or small intestine.

Usual Adult Metoclopramide Dose for Gastroparesis:

During the earliest manifestations of diabetic gastric stasis, oral administration may be initiated. If severe symptoms are present, therapy should begin with IM or IV administration for up to 10 days until symptoms subside at which time the patient can be switched to oral therapy. Since diabetic gastric stasis is often recurrent, therapy should be reinstituted at the earliest manifestation.

Parenteral: 10 mg 4 times daily, IV (slowly over a 1 to 2 minute period) or IM for up to 10 days.

Oral: 10 mg 4 times daily, 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime, for 2 to 8 weeks depending on clinical response.

Usual Adult Metoclopramide Dose for Nausea/Vomiting -- Chemotherapy Induced:

IV infusion: 1 to 2 mg/kg/dose (depending on the emetogenic potential of the agent) IV (infused over a period of not less than 15 minutes) 30 minutes before administration of chemotherapy. The dose may be repeated twice at 2 hour intervals following the initial dose. If vomiting is still not suppressed, the same dose may be repeated 3 more times at 3 hour intervals.

For doses higher than 10 mg, the injection should be diluted in 50 mL of a parenteral solution. Normal saline is the preferred diluent.

If acute dystonic reactions occur, 50 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride may be injected IM.

Usual Adult Metoclopramide Dose for Migraine:

Use for treatment of migraine headaches is not an FDA approved indication; however, metoclopramide has shown efficacy in studies at a dose of 10 to 20 mg IV once (used in combination with analgesics or ergot derivatives).

Usual Pediatric Metoclopramide Dose for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease:

Metoclopramide is not approved by the FDA for gastroesophageal reflux disease in pediatric patients; however, the following doses have been studied:

Oral, IM, IV: Infants and Children: 0.4 to 0.8 mg/kg/day in 4 divided doses

Usual Pediatric Metoclopramide Dose for Small Intestine Intubation:

Metoclopramide IV is approved by the FDA for pediatric use to facilitate small bowel intubation by causing gastric emptying where delayed gastric emptying interferes with radiological examination of the stomach and/or small intestine.

If the tube has not passed the pylorus with conventional methods in 10 minutes, a single (undiluted) dose may be administered IV slowly over 1 to 2 minutes:

Less than 6 years: 0.1 mg/kg IV as a single dose

6 to 14 years: 2.5 to 5 mg IV as a single dose

Children greater than 14 years: 10 mg as a single dose

Usual Pediatric Metoclopramide Dose for Nausea/Vomiting -- Chemotherapy Induced:

Metoclopramide is not approved by the FDA for chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting in pediatric patients; however, the following doses have been studied:

IV: 1 to 2 mg/kg/dose IV every 30 minutes before chemotherapy and every 2 to 4 hours

Usual Pediatric Metoclopramide Dose for Nausea/Vomiting -- Postoperative:

Metoclopramide is not approved by the FDA for postoperative nausea and vomiting in pediatric patients; however, the following doses have been studied: IV: Children less than or equal to 14 years: 0.1 to 0.2 mg/kg/dose (maximum dose: 10 mg/dose); repeat every 6 to 8 hours as needed Children greater than 14 years and Adults: 10 mg; repeat every 6 to 8 hours as needed

What other drugs will affect metoclopramide?

Before using metoclopramide, tell your doctor if you regularly use other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold or allergy medicine, sedatives, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression, or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by metoclopramide.

Tell your doctor about all other medications you use, especially:

cyclosporine (Gengraf, Neoral, Sandimmune);

digoxin (digitalis, Lanoxin);

Monodox Oral Uses, Side Effects, Interactions, Pictures, Warnings - Dosing, Monodex

Monodox

GENERIC NAME(S): DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE

Uses

This medication is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. including those that cause acne. This medication is also used to prevent malaria. This medication is known as a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold. flu ). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional.

This drug may also be used to treat a certain skin condition (rosacea ).

How to use Monodox

This medication is best taken by mouth on an empty stomach. at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, usually 1 or 2 times daily or as directed by your doctor. Take this medication with a full glass of water (8 ounces/240 milliliters) unless directed otherwise. If stomach upset occurs, taking it with food or milk may help. However, doxycycline may not work as well if you take it with food or milk (or anything high in calcium - more details below ), so ask your doctor or pharmacist if you may take it that way. Do not lie down for 10 minutes after taking this medication.

Take this medication 2 to 3 hours before or after taking any products containing aluminum, calcium. iron, magnesium. zinc, or bismuth subsalicylate. Some examples include antacids, didanosine solution, quinapril. vitamins /minerals, dairy products (such as milk, yogurt), and calcium - enriched juice. These products bind with doxycycline, preventing your body from fully absorbing the drug.

When using to prevent malaria, this medication is usually taken once daily. Take the first dose of this medication 1 to 2 days before travel or as directed by your doctor. Continue to take this medication daily while in the malarious area. Upon returning home, you should keep taking this medication for 4 more weeks. If you are unable to finish this course of doxycycline, contact your doctor.

If you are using the liquid form of this medication, shake the bottle well before each dose. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.

The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. For children, the dosage may also be based on weight .

Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take this drug at evenly spaced intervals.

Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a return of the infection.

Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Side Effects

Stomach upset, diarrhea. nausea. or vomiting may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: sunburn (sun sensitivity), painful/difficult swallowing, signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine).

Tetracycline drugs such as doxycycline may rarely cause a serious increase in pressure inside the skull (intracranial hypertension - IH). The risk of this side effect is greater for women of childbearing age who are overweight or who have had IH in the past. If IH develops, it usually goes away after doxycycline is stopped; however, there is a chance of permanent vision loss or blindness. Get medical help right away if you have: persistent/severe headache. vision changes (such as blurred/double vision. decreased vision. sudden blindness), persistent nausea/vomiting.

This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (Clostridium difficile - associated diarrhea) due to a type of resistant bacteria. This condition may occur during treatment or weeks to months after treatment has stopped. Do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have any of the following symptoms because these products may make them worse. Tell your doctor right away if you develop: persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain /cramping, blood /mucus in your stool.

Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in oral thrush or a new vaginal yeast infection. Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth. a change in vaginal discharge. or other new symptoms.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction. including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness. trouble breathing .

This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or at www. fda. gov/medwatch.

In Canada - Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to Health Canada at 1-866-234-2345.

Precautions

See also Side Effects section.

Before taking doxycycline, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other tetracyclines (such as minocycline); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as sulfites, soy found in some brands), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: trouble swallowing, esophagus problems (such as hiatal hernia or reflux/heartburn).

Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking this medication.

This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths, and sunlamps. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.

Children younger than 8 years may be more sensitive to the side effects of doxycycline, especially tooth discoloration. Tooth discoloration has also occurred in older children and young adults. Discuss the risks and benefits of this medication with the doctor.

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It may harm an unborn baby. Consult your doctor for more details.

This drug passes into breast milk but is unlikely to harm a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Interactions

See also How to Use section.

Drug interactions may change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects. This document does not contain all possible drug interactions. Keep a list of all the products you use (including prescription/nonprescription drugs and herbal products) and share it with your doctor and pharmacist. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicines without your doctor's approval.

Some products that may interact with this drug include: retinoid medications taken by mouth (such as acitretin, isotretinoin), barbiturates (such as phenobarbital), "blood thinners" (such as warfarin), digoxin, anti-seizure medications (such as carbamazepine, phenytoin), strontium, live bacterial vaccines.

Although most antibiotics (including doxycycline) are unlikely to affect hormonal birth control such as pills, patch, or ring, a few antibiotics (such as rifampin, rifabutin) can decrease their effectiveness. This could result in pregnancy. If you use hormonal birth control, ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

This medication may interfere with certain laboratory tests (including urine catecholamine levels), possibly causing false test results. Make sure laboratory personnel and all your doctors know you use this drug.

Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact a poison control center or emergency room right away. US residents can call their local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center.

Notes

Do not share this medication with others.

If this medication is being used to prevent malaria, it is important to understand that it is still possible to get the disease even if you have used this medication. Avoid being bitten by mosquitoes when trying to prevent malaria. Avoid contact with mosquitoes, especially from dusk to dawn, by staying in well-screened areas, wearing protective clothing, and using insect repellent and bed nets.

This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another infection unless told to do so by your doctor. A different medication may be necessary in that case.

Laboratory and/or medical tests (such as complete blood count, liver/kidney function) may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Different brands of this medication have different storage needs. Check the product package for instructions on how to store your brand, or ask your pharmacist. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Taking outdated tetracycline-related drugs can result in serious illness. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.

What Convulex is and what it is used for What you need to know before you take Convulex How to take Convulex Possible side effects How to store Convulex Contents of the pack and other information

1. What Convulex is and what it is used for Convulex is an antiepileptic, i. e. a medicine which is used to treat epilepsy (fits). Its active ingredient is valproic acid. 2. What you need to know before you take Convulex Do not take Convulex ? if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to valproic acid or any of the other ingredients of Convulex (see 6 “Further information”). ? if you have liver problems.

? if you have a family history of liver problems. ? if you suffer from porphyria (a rare metabolic condition). ? If you have a genetic problem causing a mitochondrial disorder (e. g. Alpers-Huttenlocher syndrome) Warnings and precautions Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Convulex. Take special care with Convulex ? if you experience abdominal pain, nausea and/or vomiting: Contact your doctor immediately, as these may be symptoms of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas). The risk of this potentially life-threatening condition is especially high in young children, in patients receiving combination treatment and in those with severe liver function disorder. ? Convulex may cause marked and progressive weight gain. This is a very common side effect. Consult your doctor about appropriate strategies to minimize this risk. Tell your doctor before starting Convulex ? if you have lupus (an immune system condition affecting skin, bones and joints, lungs, kidneys). ? if you are diabetic. Valproic acid may give an indication that ketones are present in the urine when this is not the case. ? if you have kidney problems. You may need a lower dose. ? if you suffer from urea cycle enzymatic deficiency (a rare metabolic disorder). ? If you know that there is a genetic problem causing a mitochondrial disorder in your family. Talk to your doctor even if you no longer have these conditions, but have had them in the past. Your doctor may advise blood tests before you start taking Convulex and during the first six months of treatment. A small number of people being treated with anti-epileptics such as valproic acid have had thoughts of harming or killing themselves. If at any time you have these thoughts, immediately contact your doctor. Other medicines and Convulex Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. If taken with some other medicines, the effects of Convulex or the effects of the other medicines may be changed. Please tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following: ? salicylates, e. g. aspirin. ? antidepressants including monoamine oxidase inhibitors. ? anticoagulants, used to thin the blood (e. g. warfarin). ? benzodiazepines, used as sleeping tablets and to treat anxiety. ? other antiepileptics, e. g. phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, lamotrigine, primidone, felbamate. ? cholestyramine, used to treat high blood lipid (fat) levels. ? cimetidine, used to treat stomach ulcers. ? antibiotics, e. g. erythromycin, carbapenem, imipenem, panipenem and meropenem. ? medicines to prevent and treat malaria, e. g. mefloquine and chloroquine. They may increase the likelihood of a fit. Before travelling to a high-risk malaria area, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist on the most appropriate prevention medicines. ? zidovudine, used to treat HIV and AIDS. ? temozolomide, used to treat cancer.

In particular, tell your doctor or nurse if you are taking any of the following medicines: Carbapenem agents (antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections). The combination of valproic acid and carbapenems should be avoided because it may decrease the effect of sodium valproate. If you have to undergo any type of surgery, including dental procedures where anaesthesia is required, tell the doctor that you are taking Convulex. Convulex does not appear to influence the effect of oral contraceptives. Convulex with food and drink Convulex may be taken with food and drink. The capsules are usually taken after meals. Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility Pregnancy Important advice for women • Valproate can be harmful to unborn children when taken by a woman during pregnancy. • Valproate carries a risk if taken during pregnancy. The higher the dose, the higher the risks but all doses carry a risk. • It can cause serious birth defects and can affect the way in which the child develops as it grows. Birth defects which have been reported include spina bifida (where the bones of the spine are not properly developed); facial and skull malformations; heart, kidney, urinary tract and sexual organ malformations; limb defects. • If you take valproate during pregnancy you have a higher risk than other women of having a child with birth defects that require medical treatment. Because valproate has been used for many years we know that in women who take valproate around 10 babies in every 100 will have birth defects. This compares to 2-3 babies in ever 100 born to women who don’t have epilepsy. • It is estimated that up to 30-40% of preschool children whose mothers took valproate during pregnancy may have problems with early childhood development. Children affected can be slow to walk and talk. intellectually less able than other children, and have difficulty with language and memory. • Autistic spectrum disorders are more often diagnosed in children exposed to valproate and there is some evidence children may be more likely to develop symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). • If you are a woman capable of becoming pregnant your doctor should only prescribe valproate for you if nothing else works for you. • Before prescribing this medicine to you, your doctor will have explained what might happen to your baby if you become pregnant whilst taking valproate. If you decide later you want to have a child you should not stop taking your medicine until you have discussed this with your doctor and agreed a plan for switching you onto another product if this is possible. • Ask your doctor about taking folic acid when trying for a baby. Folic acid can lower the general risk of spina bifida and early miscarriage that exists with all pregnancies. However, it is unlikely that it will reduce the risk of birth defects associated with valproate use. FIRST PRESCRIPTION If this is the first time you have been prescribed valproate your doctor will have explained the risks to an unborn child if you become pregnant. Once you are of childbearing age, you will need to make sure you use an effective method of contraception throughout your treatment. Talk to your doctor or family planning clinic if you need advice on contraception. Key messages:

• Make sure you are using an effective method of contraception. • Tell your doctor at once if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. CONTINUING TREATMENT AND NOT TRYING FOR A BABY If you are continuing treatment with valproate but you don’t plan to have a baby make sure you are using an effective method of contraception. Talk to your doctor or family planning clinic if you need advice on contraception. Key messages: • Make sure you are using an effective method of contraception • Tell your doctor at once if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. CONTINUING TREATMENT AND CONSIDERING TRYING FOR A BABY If you are continuing treatment with valproate and you are now thinking of trying for a baby you must not stop taking either your valproate or your contraceptive medicine until you have discussed this with your prescriber. You should talk to your doctor well before you become pregnant so that you can put several actions in place so that your pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible and any risks to you and your unborn child are reduced as much as possible. Your doctor may decide to change the dose of valproate or switch you to another medicine before you start trying for a baby. If you do become pregnant you will be monitored very closely both for the management of your underlying condition and to check how your unborn child is developing. Ask your doctor about taking folic acid when trying for a baby. Folic acid can lower the general risk of spina bifida and early miscarriage that exists with all pregnancies. However, it is unlikely that it will reduce the risk of birth defects associated with valproate use. Key messages: • Do not stop using your contraception before you have talked to your doctor and worked together on a plan to ensure your epilepsy/bipolar disorder is controlled and the risks to your baby are reduced. • Tell your doctor at once when you know or think you might be pregnant. UNPLANNED PREGNANCY WHILST CONTINUING TREATMENT Babies born to mothers who have been on valproate are at serious risk of birth defects and problems with development which can be seriously debilitating. If you are taking valproate and you think you are pregnant or might be pregnant contact your doctor at once. Do not stop taking your medicine until your doctor tells you to. Ask your doctor about taking folic acid. Folic acid can lower the general risk of spina bifida and early miscarriage that exists with all pregnancies. However, it is unlikely that it will reduce the risk of birth defects associated with valproate use. Key messages: • Tell your doctor at once if you know you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. • Do not stop taking valproate unless your doctor tells you to.

Make sure you read the patient booklet and sign the Acknowledgement of Risk form which should be given to you and discussed with you by your doctor or pharmacist.

Driving and using machines When you first start taking Convulex, or if you are taking it with other medicines, you may notice some drowsiness. Do not drive or use any tools or machines until you know if you are affected by the intake of Convulex. 3. How to take Convulex Always take Convulex exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor if you are not sure. Convulex treatment must be started and supervised by a doctor specialised in the treatment of epilepsy or bipolar disorders. Swallow the capsules whole, after meals, with a drink of water, unless your doctor advises differently. Do not crush or chew the capsules. Adults The usual dose of Convulex is between 1000 and 2000 mg per day but may be increased to 2500 mg per day. Usually, this quantity is evenly divided and taken in 2 separate doses, e. g. half in the morning and half in the evening. Use in children and adolescents Children over 20 kg The usual dose of Convulex is based on the child’s weight. The usual dose is between 20 and 30 mg for each kg of body weight but may be increased to 35 mg for each kg of body weight per day. Usually, this quantity is evenly divided and taken in 2 separate doses, e. g. half in the morning and half in the evening. Children under 20 kg The usual dose of Convulex is based on the child’s weight. The usual dose is 20 mg for each kg of body weight. Usually, this quantity is evenly divided and taken in 2 separate doses, e. g. half in the morning and half in the evening. When Convulex is first commenced, you may be prescribed a lower dose. This is because some patients need less Convulex than others to control their fits. Your doctor will increase the dosage until your condition is controlled. As a result of this it is very important that you follow the instructions your doctor has given you about how much to take. Blood tests may be needed. If you have a kidney disease, your doctor may prescribe a lower dose. If you are taking other medicines to control your epilepsy at the same time as Convulex, your doctor may gradually reduce the dose of these antiepileptics while increasing the dose of Convulex in small units per day, based on your body weight. Make sure you keep your regular check up appointments with your doctor. They are very important as your dosage may need to be changed. If you take more Convulex than you should An overdose of this medicine may be dangerous. If you think you have taken more Convulex than you should, talk to a doctor or pharmacist, or go to the nearest hospital casualty department immediately.

If you forget to take Convulex If you forget to take a dose at the right time, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Then go on as before. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you stop taking Convulex If you wish to stop taking Convulex, talk to your doctor first. Do not stop taking Convulex just because you feel better, as this may lead to an immediate relapse and your condition may get worse. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist. 4. Possible side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Please note that the following list includes all reported side effects – even those that occur very rarely. It is very important that you immediately contact your doctor if you develop any of the following symptoms, because urgent medical measures may be necessary: ? Certain changes in the blood, which may lead to an increased risk of weakness, bleeding or bruising, and can make infections more likely. ? Severe or persisting abdominal pain, nausea and/or vomiting (these may be symptoms of severe liver damage or of an inflammation of the pancreas, which may take a life-threatening course). ? Vomiting, disturbed coordination of movements and progressive clouding of consciousness (these may be signs of increased ammonia levels in the blood). ? Serious (sometimes life-threatening) skin reactions with blistering of the skin, mouth, eyes or genitals. Tell your doctor or pharmacist, if you develop any of the following side effects: Very common side effects (affecting more than 1 person in 10): ? During treatment, increased appetite leading to weight gain, which may be marked in some cases. Common side effects (affecting less than 1 person in 10): ? Drowsiness. STARstream Research is a provider of intelligence and analysis on futuristic national and international defense, security and risk developments. STARstream Research is an independent organization that relies on the input of a network of researchers around the world with vested interest in cutting edge and beyond the edge developments in exotic phenomenology and human effects. SSR provides information targeted to members of the defense and intelligence community by offering unique reports that examine topics considered off-limits by other private intelligence organizations. Founded in 2004, STARstream Research (STARpod. org / STARpod. us) is positioned to offer the public a view of the developing 21st Century, by providing a specialized synthesis of cutting edge information, background material and analysis not available anywhere else on line.

STARstream Research founder Gary S. Bekkum acts as an independent occasional “rogue journalist,” “Jedi journalist,” author, and a researcher of material that blurs the distinction between fiction and reality.

Bekkum coined the term “rogue journalist” as a citizen who ferrets out material using methods outside the scope of conventional journalism. Jedi Journalism involves writing about future events, before they happen.

In 2004 Bekkum launched STARstream Research, an informal survey of exotic physics and consciousness concepts related to the survival or otherwise of the human race, built from an international network of contacts in science and the defense industry. Some of the STARstream Research material is available to the public at STARpod. org and STARpod. us.

Gary S. Bekkum has appeared on national radio with “Coast to Coast AM” hosts George Noory and George Knapp, and on Internet radio with Don Ecker at Dark Matters Radio and Angelia Joiner of The Joiner Report. Bekkum has been cited in books by physicists Jack Sarfatti and Shan Gao (Beijing, China).

In the late 1990s, Bekkum semi-covertly provided behind the scenes information to British author Nick Cook, the former aviation editor and presently Aerospace Consultant for “Jane’s Defence Weekly.” Given that only a small amount of that material made its way into Cook’s book, “The Hunt for Zero Point”. Bekkum decided to write a follow up article called “Dark Matters Surround Dark Energy.” The Russian on-line newspaper Pravda published the story as “American Military is Pursuing New Types of Exotic Weapons.”

As a result of his efforts, Bekkum has reported numerous contacts with past and present intelligence officials interested in the application of exotic phenomena, ranging from antigravity to mind-to-mind communication, and predicting future events.

Uses: Can be used as a protection against or where there is existing infestation.

louse info 2

Effectiveness: Barrier Animal Healthcare's Louse Powder can be applied to all animals including Cattle and Horses and even young stock over 2 weeks old. It can be used on both Sucking and Biting Lice. It works at repelling the Lice over a six week period.

Contents: Totally non-toxic, this strong formulation contains concentrated plant derivatives that act as a slow release to give up to six weeks protection with one application. Barrier Animal Healthcare is the only company to include sterilized maize powder as the base carrier for the louse powder and unlike other carriers it will not be metabolised via cuts and grazes and so will not form granulomas.

Identification: Lice can usually be found on the neck, shoulders, along the spine and under the base of the tail, however, the entire body can be affected in heavy infestations. These small wingless insects are present all year round and especially noticeable amongst housed animals from the end of autumn through winter to spring. Because of its contagious nature, louse infestation spreads most rapidly when animals are in close contact. The life cycle is complete within three to four weeks. A female louse lays around 50 to 100 eggs (nits), which she attaches to the hair fibres. They hatch into nymphs after about ten days and develop into adults after a further two to three weeks - although human lice have been known to mature within eight days of hatching. It is just possible to see adult lice with the naked eye. By carefully parting the hair, movement can normally be seen at the base of the hair. They are grey/brownish/yellow in colour and the size of a pinhead. Biting lice are by far the most common, they tend to be smaller than a blood sucking louse - the largest of species would be about 1cm long although most are about half this size. Biting lice can't suck blood and can be more easily identified by their blunt head. They are slow moving and can be easily overlooked. They feed on particles of skin, fur, and feathers and their scavenging produces intense irritation causing crusty, scurfy areas that the animal will bite and scratch in an effort to alleviate their discomfort. An infected animal often takes on a motheaten appearance. Biting lice do not affect humans. Blood-sucking Lice are larger than biting lice, they have a narrow head with reduced eyes and shorter antennae. The mouthpart is modified for blood-sucking and retractable into the head when not in use. They feed on blood by piercing the skin with their mouth. They can cause severe anaemia and infested animals can rapidly lose weight and become prone to other illnesses. Lice will breed in straw, particularly barley straw so it is essential that where there is a lice infestation, bedding of this nature is treated or destroyed.

Lice affecting Horses: There are only three types of lice that seem to affect horses. One is the Sucking Louse - Haematopinus asini, which can usually be found around the base of the mane and tail. The other two species are Biting lice and closely related - pilosus and Damalinia equi. All of them cause poorness of condition, itching and loss of hair.

Lice affecting Cattle: In cattle the sucking lice mainly affect the head and shoulders. Species associated with cattle are Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, H. tuberculatus. In addition one species of biting lice Damalinia bovis occurs and can affect the whole body.

Lice affecting Poultry: Poultry are only affected by biting lice, which can cause severe anaemia in young animals. Species include Menopon gallinae and Goniodes gallinae.

Cost Effective: Barrier Animal Healthcare's Louse powder is very cost effective and the most environmentally friendly product of its kind for by the animal and the user.

Directions for use: After identifying that lice is the problem. Thoroughly cover the animal with the product, paying particular attention to the neck, under the elbows, legs, along the back and at the base of the tail. Kalcijum Karbonat - Viva Fizika, Kalcijum Karbonat

Kalcijum karbonat

Ca(NO 3 ) 2 + Na 2 CO 3 >CaCO 3 + 2NaNO 3 Fizicke osobine Kalcijum-karbonat je praskasta so bele boje.
